The tour

Spend the day with us travelling the most-loved corners of the French Riviera, in the comfort of a small group of fellow travellers and a local driver-host who has shown guests around this coast for over two decades.

Our shared day tours bring together just a handful of guests on each departure — never more than eight. You get the warmth of travelling in a small group, the comfort of an air-conditioned Mercedes, and the kind of personal stories and local detours that only come from a family who has lived on this coast for generations.

We pick you up in Nice — whether you arrive by cruise ship, hotel, or rental apartment. From there we follow the Corniche, weave through the medieval streets of Èze, and finish the afternoon among the yachts and palace gardens of Monaco. Along the way we stop where the light is best for photographs, share what we know about the food, the history, and the people, and leave you free to wander when you’d rather explore on your own.

What you will see and do

Stop 01

Nice pick-up

We collect you from your hotel, cruise terminal, or apartment in Nice. The day begins easy and unhurried.

Stop 02

Promenade des Anglais & "I ♥ Nice" sign

A pass along the famous seafront for the picture by the big blue letters, with the Baie des Anges in the background.

Stop 03

Old Nice & Cours Saleya market

A walk through the ochre alleys of Vieux Nice and the open-air market — figs, olives, soaps and bright Mediterranean flowers.

Stop 04

Place Masséna

A quick stop at the heart of the city — red Italian facades, the Fountain of the Sun, and the chequered pavement.

Stop 05

Scenic Corniche drive to Èze

We climb the Moyenne Corniche with photo stops above Villefranche Bay and the Cap-Ferrat peninsula.

Stop 06

Èze perched village + perfumery

Cobblestone lanes, stone houses with bougainvillea, a botanical garden at the top — plus an included visit to the historic Fragonard perfumery on the way up.

Stop 07

Monaco — palace, cathedral, old town

We park by the Prince's Palace and walk through the old streets to the cathedral and the harbour viewpoint.

Stop 08

Monte-Carlo — Casino square & yachts

Time to walk the Casino square, the Hôtel de Paris, the Café de Paris and the boutiques of the Metropole shopping galleries.

Stop 09

Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit

On the way out of Monaco we drive part of the track — tunnel, hairpin, harbour straight.

Stop 10

Coastal return to Nice

A relaxed coastal drive back, sea on your right the whole way.

Your driver collects you directly at your hotel, cruise terminal, or apartment in Nice. The exact pick-up point and the driver's mobile number are sent the evening before, once the tour is confirmed.

Before you go

Important notes for guests

Wear comfortable walking shoes — Èze and Old Nice have cobbled streets and gentle hills.
Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sun-cream from April through October; a light jacket for the perched villages.
This is a shared small-group tour. Departures run only on the published dates once a minimum number of guests have joined — we confirm by email a few days before.
Your deposit holds your seat. The balance is paid by card link once the tour is confirmed, or in cash on the day if you prefer.
The Fragonard perfumery visit is included. Entrance fees for other attractions are not included so you're free to choose.
Not suitable for wheelchairs — the perched villages have steps and narrow lanes.
Free time for lunch is built into the schedule; your driver will suggest favourites in Monaco or Èze.
